SECONDARY WING FEATHERS

The very largest and most perfect secondary wing feather is offered here. They are AA quality and stand out with their width and length. This feather is uniquely ideal for smudge feathers or could be used for painting or fan making.

Secondary wing feathers a.k.a barred rounds will range in their overall length from 13 to 15 inches. The longest and nicest shaped feathers will be #1 grade.

Secondary feathers that are smaller and/or the feathers that are longer but flawed slightly will be what is commonly found in the #2 grade.

These feathers are rough and rustic but are cost effective and still quite usable for fly-tying and primitive arrows or any other need for pieces of feathers.

These feathers have the point of the quill snipped off. Their uses include fly-tying, smudging, primitive arrows and flu-flu arrows.

The Grade #2 secondaries with no quill are a rougher version of the #1 with minor to moderate flaws but still have the spine of the feather intact and unbroken. Still quite suitable for primitive type arrows.

These beauties have a unique wheat colored barred and/or mottled pattern. They would create a special appearance to your craft project or could be used for fly-tying and other crafts.

Hen/Jake Secondary Wing Feathers are the smaller version of the secondary wing feathers from adult tom turkeys. They will range in their overall length from 9-13" inches.

These secondary wing feathers are comparable to the product above but will have minor to moderate flawing in the webbing of the feather and/or blemishes along the spine or point of the quill

This is the small barred feather found between the secondary portion and primary portion of a whole turkey wing. There is only one feather like this on a wing. A very nice feather for craft projects where a delicate feather is needed. The overall length varies 9-11 inches depending on the age of the bird it comes from.

These are the multi-colored feathers at the end of a turkey wing. They have nice iridescent hues and would be very useful for accent feathers on many craft projects.

These secondary wing feathers from the White Turkey are very good quality and are ideal for making feather fans and other Native American crafts.

These #2 white turkey secondary wing feathers will have a few flaws but are still quite useful for your craft projects. They can also be dyed for decorations or floral arrangements.
